When a chance came up to photograph haute couture gowns in an oppulent country house, I was never going to say no. I’ve been wanting to book onto a Walter’s Wardrobe event for years and last October the stars aligned.
The creation of model/stylist Jen Brooks, Walter’s Wardrobe sees her create a magical day’s shooting with four international models wearing the best in British couture in the most luxurious of locations. These are not training days - although you do learn lots from the photographers around you - but creative days to produce out of this world images.
The shoot theme was based on the Vogue work of Tim Walker. Jen had organised the loan of gowns by The House of Sheldon Hall. This was no ordinary shoot and I loved every minute. I was also thrilled that three images entered into the international Portrait Masters awards achieved high bronze scores last month.
SUPPLIERS: Dresses by House of Sheldon Hall, MUA Livvy Morewood & Abby Davies, Models Evie Robertson, Amelia Mary, Chiara Elisabetta, Taloulah Mair, Production Walter’s Wardrobe Events, Assistant Stylist Lou Howlett.
As I'm unable to bring you wedding inspiration on the blog, I'd love to share some of the other photographic work I'm passionate about. I'll be showcasing a new range of prints for the home alongside the many portraits I've been creating. In the meantime, make sure you follow my instagram account. Stay safe x
