Beth and Rich’s Knights Hill wedding was my first at this King’s Lynn venue and what a day it was!
Coming originally from Wales, I can see why Beth fell in love with this venue. The old walls of the great barn are majestic, so these became a central backdrop for the wedding. It really was a stunning autumn day which began with images of her stunning dress amongst the colourful leaves. Beth loves her bling and a bit of glamour, so her chosen waterfall Mori Lee gown couldn’t have been more perfect. Also practical, she accessorised with some fab Jimmy Choo trainers which were apparently SO comfy. I loved spending time with the ladies in prep who were such brilliant fun and Pokemon obsessed.
The accent colour of the wedding was a pretty pink. Rich and the guys chose classic grey tails with splashes of pink in the shirts and neckwear. As the ceremony drew closer, if Rich was nervous I really couldn’t tell. With loved ones ready and waiting and the weather so lovely, Beth came the long way around to her favourite moment of the day; walking the aisle and standing beside Rich. The ceremony was wonderfully personal and romantic with fantastic readings and vows. When discussing and planning their images, they had always stressed that the formal moments would be at a minimum. So that set the tone of the images, with fewer formal lineups and more fun. The trees couldn’t have been more perfect, so we spent a little time in the lovely light exploring all the venue has to offer.
This pair are extremely talented, DIYing most of the decor and even baking the 3 tier cake. They were aiming for sparkle and elegance and they certainly succeeded; the barn looked incredible. The laughter flowed during speeches and continued into the evening. Sparklers are always a great addition when the sun goes down so we got creative just before the party started. Everyone had a great time celebrating with Beth and Rich and I had a wonderful time capturing it all! Thanks for making me so welcome and congratulations.
